Using Animals for Entertainment Is Wrong

I’m here to talk about how wrong it is to use animals for entertainment. We use them for many unnecessary things such as; horse racing, bull fighting, fox hunting, circuses, zoos etc. Views on animal entertainment are very cultural specific because of the way people were bought up e.g. some Spanish people may find it easy to accept bull fighting, or some British people may feel more sympathy with fox hunting. But they all agree that when they take time to think about it deeply, there is something repulsive about treating humble animals this way. What does this say about human beings when we enjoy seeing pain? As St Francis of Assisi once said “If you have men who will exclude any of god's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men.” The way we treat animals reflects the way we treat each other. You might say our ancestors have been doing it for years well a lot of things have change we’ve learned it’s wrong to urinate on the street well it’s wrong to use animals in this way. The society is changing rapidly I know that a lot of things are being done to help put a stop to molesting animals this way, but we need to act faster. Treat animals with the respect they deserve. Dolphins that save humans without a second thought all they want to do is help, and how do we repay them? We make them do tricks like jumping through a fire ring. What about the dogs that jumps in front of a bullet to save their caregiver. Even the ones we use for medical experiments that have saved thousands of lives and produce uncountable drugs to improve our health, I know that are major arguments going on about animal experiments at the moment, but one cannot deny the fact that help us numerous ways but using them just so we can get a chemical reaction in our brain that feels good is not one of the ways they help us.
