Below is an essay on "Urbanization" from Anti Essays, your source for research papers, essays, and term paper examples.

Day by day millions of people from all over the world continue on moving from rural areas into more urbanized areas, such as big cities. Most migrations take place in developing countries, possibly due to lower standards of living, lower wages and less job opportunities in rural areas.   Though many still consider the effects of urbanization as negative, I personally believe that it has brought many advances and positive changes into the urbanized areas.   This essay will specifically speak about the improvements of urbanization in the developing countries all over the world.

Firstly, cities in the developing countries nowadays offer suitable job opportunities and higher wages since there are many new corporations and factories being opened, who desperately need workers.   Also, the overall financial state of urbanized areas is much higher of those in rural areas.   As more money is poured in to cities of the developing countries, there is a greater chance for the people in those areas to economically succeed and increase their standard of living.

Secondly, there are more educational facilities e.g. schools, universities etc. in the cities compared to the rural areas.   Children and teenagers are provided with higher standards of education with smaller classes and various subjects available for them.

Even though there are many people who suggest that urbanization brings overpopulation to the cities, I believe that the expansion of urban areas provide more land for the locals to use.   As the cities expand, more companies and corporations are opened yearly, helping people find suitable jobs in the developing countries.

Overall, I believe that urbanization has more positive effects in the developing countries. It provides people with more job opportunities available for them, as well as a chance to receive education in the cities.
