How an unhealthy lifestyle contributes to lung cancer I would like to discuss with you how an unhealthy lifestyle contributes to lung cancer. I will discuss the causes of the lung cancer such as smoking, bad diet, and stress. I will include how cancer affects our bodies physically, mentally, and emotionally. I will also discuss some treatments for cancer including chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, and a natural approach that includes herbal remedies. Getting lung cancer is the price you pay when you are not taking good care of yourself. If you became an unhealthy person, you will feel bad about yourself. Cancer is an abnormal, uncontrolled growth of cells that can spread beyond their natural boundaries to other parts of the body. Cancers can develop in many different parts of the body. Sometimes a cancer is called a malignant tumor or neoplasm (417). There are many things that can cause an unhealthy body. It also leads us to very difficult problems that can cause death. “A lung cancer is a dangerous disease from the lungs that can cause death. Lung cancer is the most common cause of cancer death, responsible for an estimated 160,000 deaths in the United States annually. There are two major types: non-small cell lung cancer and small cell lung cancer, so named because of how the cells look like under a microscope. Non-small cell lung cancer is the more common, and it generally grows and spreads more slowly. There are three main types of non-small cell lung cancer, named for the type of cells in which the cancer develops: squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, and large cell lung cancer. Small cell lung cancer grows more quickly and is more likely to spread to other organs on the body. The primary cause of lung cancer is smoking tobacco.
