Two weeks without my cell phone In the world today, we use cell phones for calling, texting, it’s used as an alarm clock and even a clock, we store appointments in it, we check our e-mail, we use it to play games and taking pictures and the list goes on and on. Some people like me don’t have a home phone and rely on it for all their calls. Not being able to use my cell phone for two weeks would be a stressful time for me, and it also could be nice to not have it ringing all the time, but without my cell phone I would be back to writing letters to family and friends because I don’t have a home phone, it would be difficult for my family and friends to get in touch with me. When I’m out driving my car and if it breaks down I would be stuck with no way to get in touch with any one for help. To be able to talk with friends and family members, I would have to go to their house every time I needed to talk to them, I would probably loose contact with them if I went for a long time without a phone. I could survive for two weeks without a cell phone; it would just be an inconvenience for me. The longer I would have to go without a phone the more stressful it could be, not being able to contact someone in case of an emergency would be the worst part of not having a phone. reply I agree the worst part of not having a cell phone would be not being able to be contacted if there was an emergency with family and friends. Sometime mine seems to ring all the time I just wouldn’t mind not having it for a few days, two weeks is a little too long. I just wonder how they managed all those years ago when they didn’t have any phone; I guess we would make do without them just like we did when there wasn’t any
