In a conversation with the captain, she learns of the courtship between Orsino and Olivia. She decides to work for Olivia, but since Olivia is mourning, Viola seeks employment at Orsino's household disguised as a man and using the name, Cesario. However, Cesario falls in love with Orsino but fears revealing her identity. Orsino uses Cesario to entice Olivia, but the she falls in love with Cesario. In the second plot, Malvolio works for Olivia and mistreats the other workers.
She’s unhappy that she can not be allowed to play so she impersonates her own brother at a different school and is determined to beat her schools boys soccer team to prove the point that girls can play as good as boys. The way Viola does this by getting help from her friends to change into a boy and take advantage that her brother is in England so she can become him for 2 weeks. She then goes to the school and tries to act like a boy and joins the soccer team. The room mate that she is boarding with is also on the soccer team things she is Sabastian her brother. There is many intamite moments where they help each other.
The Importance of Being Ernest is a comedy farce written by Oscar Wilde. It premiered in London on February 14th, 1895 and has since been revived several times since its opening. It is about a man living two lives, on in the country and one in the town, and how his silly lies get him caught in a net of lovers. The show centers around a man named Jack Worthing who lives in the country, but pretends to have a younger brother, Ernest, that lives in the city. While in the country, Jack is guardian to Cecily Cardew and in the town “Ernest” falls in love with Gwendolyn Fairfax.
In fact these two musicals are completely different from each other. However, that doesn’t mean that they don’t have their similarities too. Phantom of the Opera is a classical musical that takes place in mainly in the 19th century in Paris, France and tells the story of a love triangle. The main character is Christine, she’s chosen to replace an opera’s lead singer after the lead singer refuses to work under the conditions that the Phantom gives every performer and owner. Christine was blessed with the Angel of Singing from her father when he passed away.
Summary: The kids live with their father in the residential community of Little Tunks in England where the family have a tragic, scandalous notoriety following the time when their mother mysterious vanished. Lucia says she is dead. Max says she is lost. Otto doesn't say anything about his mother. Lucia suspects Otto and thinks that he is keeping a secret from her.
Throughout the play, there does not appear to be a resolution to this conflict until Act IV, Scene 1. In this scene, Feste the Clown meets Sebastian, Viola’s twin brother. Viola thought that Sebastian had in fact died at sea. Feste, believing Sebastian to be Cesario, takes him to see Olivia. At Olivia’s house, Sebastian is attacked twice, first by Sir Andrew and shortly after by Sir Toby.
Good Morning brothers and sisters. Going into to the world is an evident subject explored within the film Billy Elliot. The story is about a young boy who finds his passion for ballet in a stereotypical world in the 80s. Billy Elliot is a person we can all relate too. His home life isn't the greatest - he has lost his mother and his father Jackie is an alcoholic and cannabis smoker.
The musical is about a love story of a young writer, Christian, who falls in love with the terminally-ill star of the Moulin Rouge actress, Satine.Satine mistook Christian for the Duke, a potential investor in the cabaret, but soon know that he was just a writer without money, by this time Christian has fallen in love with her. The Duke also loved Satine and tried to interrupt them. Christian and Satine claim they were practicing the lines for the Moulin Rouge's new show. The Duke became jealous and threatened that he may stop financing the show. At the end of the show, Satine succumbed to her illness.
Honestly, this whole play almost puzzled me. Considering it was a high school play, it was tough to following the acting. The plot contained two sets of couples, Helena and Demetrius, Hermia and Lysander. Theseus, the father of Hermia, demanded Hermia to marry Demetrius. Demetrius is in love with Hermia.Thesus is getting married to Hippolyta in a few days, he threatens Hermia, if she does not marry Demetrius before his marriage, she could face execution.
The two lovers had to fall in love because Prospero forced them to come together by his servant Ariel, they are the only pure and undamaged people on the island so they represent a good future, and because the play is a comedy which means that two people had to fall in love and get married in the end. The first thing that caused them to fall in love is Prospero’s use of Ariel to bring them together. Ferdinand followed Ariel’s song and led him right to Miranda, which is exactly what Prospero wanted. His main goal is to gain his position of the duke of Milan back from his brother, Antonio, who stole it from him 12 years back. By marrying Ferdinand, Miranda will be marrying into royalty because Ferdinand is a prince and an heir to the throne of Naples.
