If exposed to violent TV for an extended amount of time, it may be able to desensitize anyone, especially if they come from an already broken home or bad neighborhood. To say that because of this desensitizing, everybody is to be more violent would not be accurate. Many who have broken the law or committed crimes against man don’t even have access to TV. People in bad neighborhoods or broken homes or schools are more prone to violence because of what they see around them,
Spanking and Aggression in Young Children Can spanking really lead to aggressive behavior in young children? In my opinion, it can and usually does. Have you ever gotten a spanking from a parent or adult, but then were told “hitting and slapping are not okay,” by that same adult? You probably felt confused or angry and asked them, “why is it ok for you to slap me, but it’s not okay for me to slap you?” This is one of a few reasons why I do not believe spanking is an effective form of punishment and can lead to aggressive behavior in children. It can cause confusion, which can then lead to stress, which can then result in aggressive behavior from the child.

Every individual will have their own opinion on how important all of these topics are, but the fact still remains that without media, the large majority of people in today’s American society would be lost. Television allows people to know what’s going on in the world, it gives people endless hours of entertainment, and it even has a certain value in advancing people’s knowledge on certain topics.

The depiction of violence in so many forms of media like music videos has made America the leading country in homicide in many people’s opinion. All of these things are leading to creating more and more aggressive generations of people. Many aspects of what we call enjoyment have contributed to our obsession with violence.
Violence is still making the headlines today for many reasons; first of all, violence sells. People are interest in finding out why or how some persons are killed or abducted. It seems that the population sees violence as ‘entertainment’. For example, most films are getting more violent than their predecessor. Secondly, violence is in our genes.

When the children did something wrong, parents thought they should spank the kids and let the kids remember what get them into trouble? Is it a good idea? Of course not, all people know that fighting can’t solve anything, and sometimes it would make the problem worse.
Spanking your child without telling your child what they did wrong or why they are being punished can leave a child feeling unloved and undeseable. Some parents have been known to torment their child for every little thing they have done wrong, instead of using spanking as a form of discipline. Parents that have not been properly taught by other parents before them on the proper way to spank, can spank their child too much and have a child becoming violent and non good person for the society. A spanking should be a last recur. A parent should first explain to their child what he/she did wrong.
