I think that we should still recognize Elvis as the king of rock ‘n’ roll. I admire him for multiple reasons. He came from so little and became so known. He also served for this county when his career was at his highest. Elvis was a huge American icon.
Tutankhamun became King at the age of 9 and died at 18. The discovery of his tomb made him famous in history because of the treasures and artefacts that were buried with him. Tutankhamun’s tomb was small relative to his status. It is believed that his tomb was made for a noble not a pharaoh and that he may have died before the completion of a grander royal tomb. Egyptians believed that after people died, they went to an afterlife, where they would continue their lives as they lived them on Earth.
(Ramses). All things considered Ramses seemed to go a competent job of taking care of the matters of Egypt during his over sixty years of reign. He was very egotistical and conceited however, but Ramses was considered a god and taught that he was a god as the Pharaoh his whole life, so he would want to be remembered. To his people he was a god and to himself as well. The state of affairs was the best ever during his reign and during the whole ancient history of the country.
The young king Tutankhamun was previously regarded as an inconsequential ruler of the 18th dynasty in the new kingdom of Ancient Egypt until the discovery of his tomb, which sparked a worldwide fascination with the life and death of this previously obscure figure. His nearly fully intact tomb was discovered by Howard Carter and his archaeological team in 1922. This tomb generated countless questions and ideas about the life and death of Tutankhamun (Tut). The wall paintings and the artefacts found in the tomb, as well as the pharaoh’s body itself allowed numerous theories to be developed as to how King Tut led his life. However, through historical and scientific research, many of the ideas conveyed by the tomb were proven to be false.
King Tut was king of Egypt for approximately four years so why do people consider him so important? Well it has always been scientist's interest in why this king died so young until 1922 when Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon were exploring the ancient tombs of Egypt they discovered the tomb of King Tutankhamen (Tut). They discovered a funerary temple thought to be built by Tutankhamen; he died before he finished building it so his sons finished it. His tomb is buried a mile away from the funerary temple. The Valley of Kings is believed to be where many of King Tut's family was buried.

He created two of the most respected pieces of art in human history, The Mona Lisa and The Last Supper, both of which still maintain their credibility as masterpieces to this day. Da Vinci’s notebook also proved him to be a Renaissance man, he had many great ideas in various subjects including art, writing, anatomy and scientific design. Da Vinci’s notes show primitive ideas for inventions that wouldn’t be fully developed until centuries later. This flood of intelligence is what prevented a lot of his ideas from fully developing. Since da Vinci excelled in many subjects, he never had enough time in his life to completely focus on mastering one field in particular.
Come 1390BC, Egypt was to welcome a new leader to the throne, Amenhotep III (meaning ‘Amen is satisfied’). He was the 9th Pharaoh of the 18th dynasty and came to power when his father Thutmose IV died and left him the throne. Many call Amenhotep’s reign ‘The Golden Age’ as he not only aimed to keep Egypt in a state of peace and prosperity but also was the wealthiest and most powerful person of his time. This new ruler proved to be different in almost every way from both his predecessors and the pharaohs who ruled after him. He made Egypt a peaceful and prosperous nation, not through warfare but through diplomacy.
The Egyptians begin to build their wonderland, which are the pyramids. We all make preparations while we are alive for what will happen once we are gone. The Egyptians did this by building large pyramids so that even time goes by, they still will be remembered. Most persons celebrate their birthday, however, never think about the death. Egyptians remind themselves and cannot forget death, because they spend their whole lives preparing for the death.
With a colossal spread of over 1,260,000km², granting it the largest known ancient civilization. For over seven hundred years, the Indus civilization was thriving with excellence as seen in modern day religion & business, this soon declined and disappeared. But how could a civilization of such magnitude disappear leaving very little or even no traces? Archaeological excavations of Harappan sites began in 1842 by Charles Masson; many archaeologists persistently furthered the excavation of these sites. During this process, pieces of the jigsaw puzzle that is the Indus Valley Civilization have been fixed together suggesting answers to questions, but an extreme lack of definitive proof.
