Truth about Happiness
It’s really hard to tell if painful knowledge of truth is more important than happiness in ignorance. Both have positive and negative outcomes in our life. It can turn us into a different person and change our life. In my personal view, it is the truth that makes up the essence of all human beings. In other words the truth, no matter how hard it is to accept, it will make us strong and carefree individuals.
Genuine happiness can only be obtained if we are truly happy. A lie might bring a smile on your face in the short run, but a lie does not have the power to keep that smile on the face in the long run. As they say liberty will lead you to the state of being happy, while courage will bring you liberty. In other words it will take guts to tell and or accept the truth for it will grant you the happiness you deserve.
In my life, truth has become more important as the years have passed. I have learned so much and realized that ignoring the truth or distorting it for your own selfish ends does not bring happiness. You may have temporary contentment, but the truth will eventually surface and your own deceit will be shown for what it truly is. It is often said that a lie that brings a smile on someone's face is better than the truth that can make one cry. I feel that it’s just an excuse to justify our weaknesses. We try to avoid uncomfortable situations, and we also do not want others to think bad about us, so we choose to lie to avoid miserable things that may happen.
We meet all sorts of people from the different walks of life and deal with them. We have to be always vigilant and aware of the commotions happening around us because everything may happen in just a second. Different things occur in different places every time. We never know that someone might just be spreading bad rumors about us and the worst make money out our image. Competition
