While in “The Treasure of Sierra Madre”, Dobbs actually dies from his greed by turning on Curtin and attempting to kill him, but he starts to go crazy and gets killed by Gold Hat, a Mexican bandit that they had run into before. Also, Wetherton and Howard seem to both understand the dangers of gold mining. Wetherton was always alert when it came to mining the dangerous gold, and even reminded himself about the evils that gold had on a man. The ship carried a king’s ransom in various treasures and precious materials. During the trip Jacobsz and Cornelisz made a plan to hijack the ship and start a new life somewhere else using all the supply of gold and silver onboard. Then around midnight on June 4, 1629 the Batavia struck a reef in the Abrolhos Islands, some 80 km off the Western coast of Australia. As soon as the situation became clear evacuations to near by islands commenced, but unfortunately 40 drowned. Pelsaert, being the commandeer went to seek help from the port of Batavia with 30 others at his side as it was some 1,200 miles away.
After this feat Caesar went back to Rome. When Caesar was a young man, he went to the island of Rhodes to learn oratory. While on his way to the island, he was captured by pirates and the pirates demanded a ransom of gold in order for Caesar to live. “When messengers were sent for the money, Caesar promised himself that he would hang his captors someday. When he was released he collected a naval force then found the pirates, and killed them(Bruns 23-34).” This ordeal shows that Caesar had a lot of influence for a private citizen holding no power in a political office.

William Golding’s Lord of the Flies is a novel about a group of young British school boys who are stranded on an island after a plane crash during World War II, where all the adults die. Soon the boys’ minor arguments turn into bloodthirsty conflicts and Jack’s tribe and its savage methods emerge as the clear victor and establish dominance over the civilized children.
The main character of the series is Monkey D. Luffy, a young pirate who wishes to succeed Gol D. Roger, the deceased King of the Pirates, by finding his treasure, the "One Piece". In the beginning of the series, Luffy accidentally eats the Paramecia-type Gum-Gum Fruit, causing his body to gain the properties of highly stretchable rubber. During the course of series, Luffy gathers himself a diverse crew, named the Straw Hat Pirates Together they sail the seas in pursuit of their dreams, encountering other pirates, bounty hunters, criminal organizations, revolutionaries, secret agents and soldiers of the corrupt World Government, and various other friends and foes. One Piece is an extremely fun and passion series to watch, the show includes diverse characters, from human to giants, mermen and mermaids, and "fishmen." However, despite the funny part of the story, we discovered that Monkey D. Luffy, the main character, also possesses some leadership theories we learned in the class.
The hurricane hits the Outer Banks, and a ship sunk and was drowning. There were people in the ship, and the surf men rescued a baby boy, his mother, and two other sailors. Nathan’s realize that he could never be able to do what the surf men were doing, but he helped the baby and the injured sailor because he learned what to do in the medical books. Name of protagonist: Nathan, Mr. Etheridge, Mr. Meekins, Mr.Pugh, Mrs.Gardiner Conflict: The conflict of the story is that the surf men went rescued sailors whose ship sunk and were drowning in a storm, but it was hard to save them. Resolution: The resolution is that surf men could save everybody from the ship and Nathan helped the rescuers thanks to what he learned from the medical books.
