Although the location of the resort is not ideal (located in the poorest area of the state), the management had attracted a group of hard working employees. Yet due to lack of promotion and advancement at the resort, the excellent members of the staff have moved onto other resorts leaving behind the novices and poorer workers. The inconsistency shown with shipping and handling the products creates issues in the organization. Making mistakes such as the loss of materials, and incorrect shipping is a problem caused by the miscommunication. Last but not least, frustration. If the company ceases to manufacture some products required by those big customers in order to decrease the inventory and cut off the cost, the company may lose contract with those important customers. Another problem confronting the company is that some medium and small-sized customers complained that there are insufficient products to be shipped. So, the dilemma comes out. The company has big inventory stored, meanwhile some customers always complains about the lack of products. One major reason is that the company always keeps the not-updated information and thus the improper inventory.
Managers may also be challenged with losses in personnel and work productivity due to prejudice and discrimination and complaints and legal actions against the organization (Devoe, 1999). Some of the main challenges of diversity in the workplace include communication barriers, increased tension within the workforce, resistance to change, group cohesiveness and interpersonal conflict, lack of implementation of diversity in workplace policies and lack of efficient management of the diverse workforce. Communication barriers lead to problems in a company attempting to create a diverse workplace. For example, when a U.S. company hires employees of other cultures whose first language is not English, employees and managers may experience difficulties communicating with one another. This can lead to misunderstandings and a decrease in productivity.

Next the relationship between managers and foremen should be better.
Overview/Summary of Articles Employee burnout is a topic that is not highly discussed within organizations. While many companies do not recognize this as a serious issue, employee burnout has caused companies to lose money, lose top performers, and productivity has gone down. Employee burnout takes a toll not only on the company, but the actual employee. Employees often feel as though they are transparent within the company, are not motivated, and have no voice. Managers, supervisors, and the organization as a whole can properly address issues such as these before burnout actually occurs.
Some strategies to manage change and innovation would be to first discuss why changes to come about to better the company. Describe the sequence of change activities that must be performed in order for change to be successful. Change management entails thoughtful planning and sensitive implementation and consultation with, and the involvement of people affected by the change. Changes must be realistic, achievable, and measurable. Explain the changes to the employees of how it will happen, and that if it doesn’t work then the company will not stick to the changes.
