The Olympic Games is the most popular sports games in the world today. Every four years, the Olympic Games is the most attractive event in summer. Totally, there were 10,500 athletes from 205 teams which are in 204 different countries and areas took part in the last Olympic Games at London In 2012. Different player represented different nations to compete and communication with each other and make friends with people from foreign countries. Obviously, the Olympic Games bring nations together and are a starting point for intercultural relations. In this essay, the evidences to improve the Olympic Games make different nations be together and have good communication will be 3 parts: building friendship, gender equality and the removing of racism. Firstly, the friendships between the athletes from different nations in Olympic Games bring nations together. Players always make friends with the players from other country. During the competition, they will be impressive to each other and have some communications. For example, According to West (2008), during the women's 10m air pistol game in 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Russia and Georgia started a military conflict. Georgia's 35-member team almost left the Games earlier over the contradiction with Russia; Nino Salukvadze won bronze and Russia's Natalia Paderina won silver.
