It is easier to increase sales and profit by increasing the amount charged to the customer but not all customers will willingly be paying products on high amount instead they will look for alternative goods with the same uses. In this essay, I will be discussing how great productivity flow can also lead to increase in sales and profit. A simple Production flow begins with taking all raw materials that is the inputs to be processed (production process) and turn into products which is the outputs. The best productive flow should not have interruptions or at least minimal interruptions in order to avoid additional costs in the production of the products and if possible to maintain a low cost of production in order to obtain high profit ratio of sales. Factors influencing the productive flow are the efficient and efficiencies of utilizing the factors involved in the production process such as the building, machinery, materials and workers. The space and facilities of the building where production process are carried out should be fully utilized for production process to achieve maximum output. Companies should purchase the right machinery, equipments and materials to suitable for the production environment and its uses. Workers should be selected by thorough selection and to provide the proper induction and training so to train individuals at the start of employment. Aside from that the management should also handle a consistent quality check on all the factors mentioned to avoid accidents and ad-hoc maintenance which may lead to increase in the cost therefore decrease the sales and profit of the company.
