The mountain lion is a large cat that is also known as a cougar, panther, yellow cat, puma, and several other names (Danz, 1999, p.13). Shoulder heights average around 30 inches and length is approximately eight feet (“Mountain Lion”, 2014). The tail is about one-third of the entire body length and these cats typically weigh between 75 and 175 pounds (“Mountain Lion”, 2014). However, the largest mountain lion weighed 276 pounds and was killed near Hillside, Arizona (Danz, 1999, p.44). The legs of the cat are very muscular and the back legs are much longer than the front, allowing the cats to increase their leaping abilities (Knight, 2005).
The Brown Tree snake is a native snake to Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Melanesia. This snake is known to have a dark brown color and can grow up to 9 ft long a little above the average wild snake size. These snakes feed on birds, lizards, bats, small rodents, and occasionally other snakes. Due to the lack of natural predators in certain areas and an excessive amount of prey, the population of these snakes is bound to increase. They are commonly found in trees, caves, and the ground and near limestone cliffs.
The average Florida Panther needs about three thousand calories per day to keep them going. Pregnant females need about eight thousand calories and growing kittens need about twenty thousand calories per day to survive. They tend to eat larger animals, such as deer and wild pigs, but also eat raccoons, armadillos, rabbits, and other smaller game. They are not all carnivorous though, they will occasionally eat some plants. At night, when this remarkable animal is wide awake, they travel in zig-zag patterns while they hunt and defend their territory.

The female centaur is smaller than the male centaur. From what is visible beneath the fatal claws of the tiger, one could tell that the human and horse halves of the female centaur's body are fairer then that of the alive male counter part. The male centaur's torso is tan and muscular displaying the god-like image that the Greeks created their human forms under. The male centaur also shows dominance by the stance and position the artist shaped him in. He is reared up on his hind equine legs while he is lifting a massive boulder over his head.
The grey wolf is a social animal, traveling in packs consisting of a mated pair and the pair’s adult offspring (Mech., 2003). The grey wolf is typically an apex predator throughout its range. It feeds primarily on large ungulates, but it also eats smaller animals, carrion, and livestock. Arguably, the reasons for the decline in wolf population are that they are highly territorial animals, and established territories than they require to survive to ensure steady supply of prey. Wolves defend their territory from other packs through a combination of scent marking, direct attacks and howling (Asa., 1990).

The type of primate I examined for my zoo assignment was the red ruffed lemur, which also possesses a scientific name known as the varecia rubra (Red-ruffed Lemur). The red ruffed lemur is one of the largest primates of Madagascar and has a body length that reaches up to 56 cm., a tail length of up to 62 cm., and a weight of about four kgs (Red-ruffed Lemur). Red ruffed lemurs have slender bodies and long legs (Red Ruffed Lemur). Also, they have a narrow, fox-like snout and small ears that are hidden by a ruff of hair (Red Ruffed Lemur). The soft, woolly body fur is a deep rusty red while their extremities such as their forehead, crown, belly, and tail are black (Red Ruffed Lemur).
