One particular race of people, the Chinese, has been a great contribution to U.S economy and cultures. Although today they are well accepted, it wasn’t always this way. In the 19th century, the Chinese faced many difficulties when immigrating into the U.S. Many Chinese Americans or “Chinamen” were unjustly harassed, prosecuted and even killed for reasons that were unprecedented.
