The Wednesday for Tomorrow Every day is not created equally, at least not on the campus of Alcorn State University. While many of the days hold their own special meaning, there is one that surpasses them all. It is what I call “Wednesday for Tomorrow”. This day is centered on flawless appearance and etiquette. Every week this continues to be the day of spotlight and people anticipate its arrival. As I returned to my room on what seemed to be a rather less than mediocre Tuesday, I notice the clouds were dark and bold. I entered building C in great anticipation of reaching my door and opening (on this day) the entry to heaven. As I entered, I walked directly to my room without uttering a mumbling word, and threw my 157lb. body into bed. I do not believe myself to be a pessimist of any sort, but the day had just not been good. However, as I lay in grand satisfaction of the day being over, I was surprisingly reminded of what the next day would possess. Professional Wednesday! In an instant, a gigantic smile threw itself upon my face, and every single tooth showed itself. If one was to walk in on me he/or she would probably think I was a mental patient, but I would not care. This is the day that outshines even Friday here on the campus of Alcorn State University. It is a day where every student is encouraged to put forth his/or her best professional display of attire. I am originally from Detroit, Michigan where It is without saying one of the fashion capitals here in America. Thus, this day of dress is definitely the highlight of my week. I jumped out of bed as if gunshots were being fired ready to put together my outfit. Everything around me was black and white except for my closet that was rich and glowing. I grabbed my navy blue Bachrach suit and laid it on my bed. I began to compliment the suit with shoe and belt of a Hennessey shade and a shirt that resembled
