“The Truth is Love” What makes life worth living? In life there are plenty of things that I believe in and are important aspects of my life. There are numerous things I really believe are “true”. I know I attend Clemson University, I know I love to duck hunt, and I know the lord is my savior. These things have a huge meaning on my life, yet there has to be something behind these things though. Why am I a student at Clemson University? Why do I love duck hunting? Why do I believe the lord is my savior? There is something that I really do believe is true in my life, something that caused these things to happen. Something that “matters,” something I look towards to find “joy.” When thinking of something that I believe to be true, the thing that comes to my mind is something that will always be there. Something that motivates me and gives me the incentive to try my hardest at everything I do. It is something that makes me happy. To me that something is the passion and love of someone. It is the most sacred thing I believe in to be true and is by far the most meaningful thing in my life. It makes “life worth living.” The Road expresses how important the passion for other people are in someone’s life. In the story the father and son have nothing to live for; the world has come to an end. They are some of the only people still alive in this post apocalyptic world. They still struggle to make ends meet and survive. The only reason they try to survive is for each other. The father is on his deathbed, and he gives the gun to his son, and tells him to kill himself if he is found. After reading this story is made me think, what makes a person so special, that the only reason to live is for that person? It is because that person cares about you, he/she has been there for you. You know if you ever need anything, they will be there. It is the one person that loves you. It
