The way technology is integrated in our daily lives is of great amusement if one thinks focuses on this thought. Our lives are dependent on technology, in a way that even at a very basic level, even the food we eat is first processed in huge industries. With the constant evolution of a man’s relation with technology, all of the fields related to humanities are being affected. Some of these effects are proving to be very productive but seemingly have their own drawbacks. The effect of technological intervention in Arts is a very easily observable phenomenon. Technology has affected today’s music, visual arts including graphic designing, printing and even replaced the paintings with most of the work now coming in forms of digital paintings and digital art. The old conventional ways and channels are now being rarely used for producing art works. Art, which can be considered as an essential part of human intellect is now all dependent on technologies which according to some artists is a good and productive step. However the ones who still believe in conventional methodology criticizes this fact because arts is something which is to remain pure and connected to human soul and when technology interferes then producing art is no different from a manufacturing industry. This stays a very valid argument but then again oil paints are manufactured in industries and most of the artists use synthetic paints. To which level technological interference is acceptable in arts remains a blurred ground for the critics. In the field of visual arts the technological arts has changed the trends.
