Large industries were placed in the Western suburbs and the extremely wealthy lived in massive mansions near the Yarra River. Almost all suburbs had access to a network of train and trams which were said to be the most modern in the world. Because of the economic boom of the gold rush, much of the inner part of Melbourne had outstanding Victorian architecture and housing. The Melbourne Cup has such a rich history, significant and everlasting memories as well as holding strong celebrations across the Country.
A population of about 46,00,000, and a high demographic mix where 31.7% is born overseas, makes Sydney the biggest centre in Australia for diverse employment opportunities. The city thus sees a large migratory population constantly moving from one home to another due to varied reasons like a change of job, purchase of new home etc. Under these circumstances the removalists in Sydney play a very vital role in facilitating the entire transition which would otherwise have become a night mare for most people. It could be argued that Australia becoming a Federation was a stupid thing to do but most people agree that it was a great idea. Some of the reasons can include trade (NSW/Victoria rivalry), communication and fear of invasion by Germany. On January 1, 1901, Australia’s six self-governing colonies became states in a Federal Commonwealth. In other words, January 1st, 1901, is when Australia became a Federation. For over fifty years many individuals had dreamed of this and occasionally false starts were made, but it wasn’t until the 1890’s that the Federation movement gathered momentum.
However, his main argument is that the painting was aimed at two very different and distinct audiences. He suggests that Robert’s had intended to submit Shearing the Rams to the Royal Academy Exhibition of 1890 to London; unfortunately, the painting was not finished by this date. This idea of sending his work to London supports Smith’s description of Robert’s as an influential painter of the time who was dedicated to the promotion of Australia art, but whom was he promoting it

South Pacific by Hammerstein the second and Joshua Logan is generally considered to be one of the greatest musicals in history, but this musical wasn’t always a Broadway hit! When Director Joshua Logan, a World War two veteran, read Michener’s Tales of the South Pacific he decided what a sensation it would be to adapt it for the stage. He and producer Leland Hayward purchased the rights for the work from Michener; they also asked Richard Rodgers to do the honors of to compose the music and Hammerstein the second to write lyrics and the Libretto of the upcoming musical. Both Rodgers and Hammerstein accepted the job and they began transforming the short, but detailed stories “Fo Dolla” and
