Basically their whole life depended on the stars. The Mayans used the stars to tell them when to go to war, harvest crops and other events of life. Astronomy is still in its use today especially because of the invention of the telescope by Galileo. Star spectrum is light coming from a star that is broken down into a rainbow. Spectra can tell us what makes up a star just by analyzing it.
I have an interest in Greek mythology, and I like to see how stories are brought to life through pictures. It is interesting to see how one interprets stories into to a visual form. I especially like the usage of color in this painting. My favorite part of the painting is the two angles. The way the blue wrap is entangled between the two angles shows how graceful the wind is that is bringing Venus to the shore.
The second text that I chose is Fly Me to the Moon by TGP as it combines both music and lyrics to draw a view on an event. In this case the composer gives the audience her perspective on love in form a ‘euphoria’ or euphoric event. The song starts off with a faster than normal beat symbolising a heart racing then introducing a high frequency melody that is played repeatedly. This is done to give the song a fantasy feel, a dream
Apollo 13 The Mission Insignia for Apollo 13 showed the god Apollo, representing the Sun, riding his chariot across the surface of the Moon to symbolize the Apollo Project bringing back new knowledge from the Moon. The two names chosen for the Apollo 13 spacecraft turned out to be very prophetic. The Command Module was called Odyssey from Homer and Arthur C. Clarke’s fictitious works. Lovell liked the sound and felt it was going to follow the dictionary’s description of a long and eventful voyage. The Lunar Module was called after the sign of the Zodiac and star constellation Aquarius, the water carrier, at times identified with Zeus pouring the waters of life down from the heavens.
They have written novels portraying the same theme: pursuing ones dreams. To depict this theme, the protagonists from The Little Prince, by Saint-Exupery, and The Alchemist, by Caolho, learn from their experiences while being guided by similar symbols. The stars are one such symbol that is shared between the two stories. The narrator, from The Little Prince, and Santiago, from The Alchemist, both use the stars to navigate them on their journey. The stars illustrate the immensity of the universe and the different ways it can be looked at.
They posessed herbs that cure common alements too. India was the medical superpower of the world at this time. Ancient India had astronomy also. They studied the stars and sky with great interest. They could caculate when eclipses were to happen.

Some gods were even related to each other. They would build temples to honor their gods. The Aztecs also believed in an afterlife, they believed the gods would assign them jobs to do after death like push the sun from morning to night, or help create nature. The job would depend on how you died. The Spanish arrived around the 1500s. The Spanish brought guns, dogs, horses, and disease which helped them conquer the Aztecs.
ing Sun GodThe poet linked Aten to the sun and as the first example of monotheism, the importance of the linkage between the sun and Aten is meant to create an observable connection between the deity Aten and the people worshiping him. The symbolism of the sun being ever present and the overall dictator of not just the lives of the people but the existence of everything on earth; cements the importance of linking the sun to Aten; exemplifying Aten’s importance. This can be seen from the verse saying; “Once you rose into shining, they lived; when you sink to rest, they shall die”. This summarizes the importance of Aten the living sun god who as implied here controls the cycle of life with his rising and sinking. When he rises, then there is life and when he sinks, then there is death meaning he has to be present for life to exist.
Two generations after Djoser’s reign, the kingdom was moved north to the barren plateau of Giza. There, three pyramids were built. The northern and oldest of the three was built at around 2551 B.C. by King Khufu, mostly known as the Great Pyramid of Giza. The middle pyramid was built by king Khafre at around 2520 B.C.
