At my job the customer service employees have a higher ranking than the sales associates, but they do not treat each other differently. First, I noticed that Ashley and Joanna spoke to each other with a lot of trust, and both of them are customer service employees. Second, when Linda and Nancy spoke to Ashley and Joana; they used more of a respectful tone to their conversation. It could be, because of ranking since Linda and Nancy are both sales associate. If you refer back to line 6 and 7 you can see that Nancy does not use profanity when describing the professor, but Joanna does.

The smell isn’t good but that’s nothing compared with the feel of all those serverd nostrils and lips and ears between your fingers”. This graphic image gives us a glance into the teenagers working lives, their arms are “slick” in blood and guts, this is not a job that they enjoy. We see an arrogant side to the narrator on page 4, “To be honest hes not my sort of bloke at all, but somehow he’s my best friend”, he comes across like he feel’s superior to Biggie, as if he owes his friendship to Biggie. The narrator shows us that there is a lot of loyalty between the two boys, on page 6 he states “Biggie’s not the brightest crayon in the box but he’s the most loyal person I know”, this leads us to belive that Biggie is unintelligent, not the most cleverest person. The narrator goes on to say that “I made him look brighter than he was”, this was done out of loyalty, the narrator was trying to help but it actually ended up wih Biggie and himself failing thier exams they “fried”.

ENGLISH LITERATURE JULIUS CAESAR (Character analysis) : BRUTUS: strengths: : stoical - doesn't show emotion : superlative praise from Antony (Many characters praise him) : comes from an ancient, highly respected family - very honourable : not easily won by Cassius' persuasions - listens to his arguments + then thinks it over carefully : huge sense of responsibility - soliloquy (Act 2, Scene 1) : creates sympathy - when he says he hasn't slept since Cassius first spoke to him (4 weeks earlier) (very distressed) - highlights his loyalty to Caesar and his friends : tender and affectionate towards wife (Portia) + his servant (Lucius) - attractive quality + despite his troubled mind (distressed when he finds out Portia self-harmed) : once his mind is made up he never wavers - assassination of Caesar : extremely sincere : must be good because won the complete trust of the Roman mob and Caesar ('For Brutus as you know, was Caesar's Angel' - Antony) : 'I am not gamesome.' - Brutus - quite boring, not frivolous BUT noble, honest, full of integrity (sense of nobility) : 'If it aught toward the general good, set honour in one eye and death i'th'other and I will look on both indifferently.' - Brutus - loyal, will do anything for Rome (even if it means death) : 'This was the noblest Roman of them all.' - Antony : 'He sits high in all the people's hearts.' - Casca (man not easily impressed judging from his mocking account of the ceremony with the crown = value his praise more highly) faults: : idealist - sees the best in people / motives for joining the conspirators (wholly pure) but sees him make many mistakes 1. gives Antony permission to address the citizens at Caesar's funeral - stirred them to mutiny (unwittingly allowed Antony to discredit him and the conspirators) 2.
Samuel was a rational person and often did not think before he reacted which led to the Boston tea party. He was a radical person and did not make his decision meaningful. He was a very relaxed individual when it came to handling his own business affairs. He was one that had a problem coping with frustration that essentially led him to become a poor problem solver. Thomas Hutchinson and Samuel Adams were alike in many ways, although they were enemies, both fought for the rights of the people in their mind.
He does not have an epiphany. “The noise lasted several minutes, during which, that I might hearken to it with the more satisfaction, I ceased my labor and sat down upon the bones” this shows how much of a cold ruthless person Montresor really is by taking satisfaction out of the cry’s and struggles of Fortunato. Fortunato would be the only other character in the story, his name which could mean fortunate, or lucky is a round/dynamic character the narrator describes him as a man to be respected and even feared was also a man who took much pride in his taste of wines, he would be a dynamic character because his attitude changes from the good vibes he gives out when he first sees Montresor at the carnival to fear for his life when Montresor is stacking up the bricks “not the cries of a drunk man” which means he was sober at the time he had begun trapping him in the niche. Fortunato is an addict as all he thinks about throughout the beginning of the play is the amontillado. Fortunato goes through an epiphany when Montresor begins to stack the building stones to keep him in the niche, “I stacked the second tier, third fourth; and then I head the furious vibrations of the chains” realizing that Montresor didn’t need the help of him to distinguish weather or not
