While Wilson is on his way to see Mr. Carson, we learn that he is very hungry and hasn’t eaten in days. He says that if the other servants would have known that, they would have generously given him an abundant amount of food. He also tells the reader that like him, the servants’ hunger and cravings have turned into a numb “sickness”. Gaskell is not being objective nor trying to make fun of the way society was at that time. She is
Junior's father “drinks his pain away” (107). Throughout history, labeling and stereotyping have been employed to quicken the process of communication. However, this tool has been used undesirably to discriminate against certain groups of individuals. Crash is a typical example. Throughout the entire movie, the characters apply

The elusive maze of Flannery O’Connor In A Good Man is Hard To Find Flannery O’Connor expresses the many ideas and logic which touches many controversial issues through subtle meanings and symbols. Every word said, and action taken is a puzzle piece to the different meanings, theme, and motifs a reader is able to derive from her writing. Like how rhetorical questions are almost mean, it was funny to me in this sense. It was also tense in the before and after paragraphs so it was like a type of tension release and whatnot as well. Though all of them argue afterwards again, I don’t think it was “appropriate” but Aphrodite is a “hateful-hag” in the story. Symbol: Conflict – problems throughout the story. Example: Chapters
training 12 till 2 rolans Both novels are written in the first-person. Salinger's narrative is a trail of thought that induces the reader to follow his protagonist on a rather rough journey of the body and mind. Holden is a subjective narrator, his opinion of himself often contradicts those of other characters within the novel. He feels he looks undoubtedly old yet he is frequently questioned about his age or refused drinks. He is also a hypocritical narrator, he continuously mentions how he hates movies yet he often watches them or talks of ones he has seen.
