By using utilitarianism ethics it would seem the benefits of not airing the prank would be more beneficial. As this would be seen by the radio station as maintaining their professional integrity, it would avoid the possibility of impacting their relationships with multiple stakeholders negatively. From the positives and negatives discussed, it would seem under utilitarianism ethics the prank would not be ethical to broadcast. Kantian Ethics The decision to not air the prank would not be delayed under Kantian ethics. As the main issue at stake is the process of the matter; therefore the principle of duty must be followed.
Texting while driving has been forbidden in Vermont since July 2010. (Texting While Driving) Over a period of ten months, Vermont police officers issued a total of sixty-four citations for texting while driving because this law is not an easy one to enforce. People need to understand and learn the consequences of text driving, learning that it is not worth the lives that are being lost. Remember you have a decision to make, do I risk my life, or the life of some else, because I just had to read or respond to that message. Remember, texting and driving is no different than driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Ask yourself one question. Can I live with myself if my actions cost the life of someone?
It is not realistic to expect people to completely stop using mobile devices in vehicles. There are many ways to reduce this phenomenon including: Legislation, public education and technological improvements (Ba-Masq 2013). Therefore all 50 states should have standardized some sort of regulation prohibiting the use of cell phones while driving. Though the board cannot enact regulations itself, its suggestions are taken serious by lawmakers.

Texting while driving is even more dangerous. It involves using your hands on the device and your eyes on the device to make sure that you are typing correctly. This means more attention given to the device and less to the road. More accidents await unless texting while driving is banned. As you can see, texting and or calling while driving can be very dangerous, and should be illegal in all states.
I found out I was wrong. It turns out I’m not unusual. Mary Johnson in her article “Cell Phones are Dangerous” argues that as statistics of cell phone use while driving goes up, so do accidents. According to Johnson, we should not use our phones while driving and should educate others not to use them either. Johnson gives statistics showing that talking on a cell phone is as dangerous as driving drunk.
