Great green pastures, lined up huts, blue sky, glory stars, nice weather, and peaceful life! Who discards these beauties and goes to a city? In reality, numerous people contradict this question and prefer to live in a city. Why people choices are so different? In my opinion, both city and town have a number of pros and cons, and at various stages of your life, you may prefer one of them. A big city is actually an ideal place for everyone. It provides us with a large number of essential advantages such as an adequate educational environment, opportunities, and entertainment. A wise leader once said “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” (Nelson Mandela) Education plays a major role in people’s future success and prosperity. Living in a big city almost guarantees children a better chance of receiving a better education than in the countryside. In most countries, it is no doubt that level of education in the city is higher than that of the in country are. It only stands to reason that more populated areas are equipped with more schools and facilities such as large libraries, museums, sport facilities, and other educational establishments that can assist children in their overall education. Also, the schools and the universities have well equipped classes and more highly trained teachers therefore, students can get a highly and outstanding education for the benefit of their future. A good education is essential for career opportunities. Access to good jobs is another important reason why large cities are preferable to small towns. It is a well-known fact that the world is becoming increasingly urbanized. In almost every country in the world the trend has been for more and more people to move from small towns to larger cities do to the better opportunities one can find there.
