But we don’t think of the negatives that might be associated with the Disney brand of movies. The 2009 Disney animated film The Princess and The Frog shows the struggles of the main character who is a poor young strong black woman, Tiana (voiced by Anika Noni Rose), living in roaring 1920’s New Orleans and the lengths she is willing to go to in order to achieve her dream. The story progresses through the struggles she faces throughout her life from a young child into adulthood. Growing up her family was poor and her parents have to work hard to make a living instilling in a young Tiana that she too has to work hard if she wants to achieve her dreams. The movie shows Tiana being dedicated to achieving her dream of opening a restaurant while she pushes everything else to this side including her family and friends.

Tiana gets mistaken to be a princess, by Naveen the prince because of her costume. Naveen was turned into a frog by the voodoo man Facilier, he asked Tiana to kiss him to turn him human again. Instead of turning human Tiana also turned into a frog also. Then they go on the search for a good hearted voodoo priestess who they believe can break the curse. Mama Odie tells Naveen and Tiana, that Naveen must kiss Charlotte before twelve for she is the Mardi gras princess.

Both stories,Aschenputtel and Yeh-Shen shares the same sad background. Both stories are about two young maiden with beauty anf grace. They both lost their mother when they were young, raised by their evil stepmother and stepsisters. Just as Aschenputtel her dream of going to the prince’s ball, Yeh-Shen also had her dream; she “longed to go to the Spring Festival,” where young women met their husbands They both weren’t allowed to go to the festival but they got help and support from their Magical friends. At the end of the festival they both lose a golden slipper and later married a royalty.
When wizard students stay at the Russos' due to Wiz Tech being closed down, Ronald Longcape Jr. begins to develop feelings for her. Alex feels guilty when she thinks she's falling in love with Ronald. Ronald gets rid of Dean and then transforms into him as to break up with Alex so he can be with her. Ronald takes advantage of her and makes her evil like him and his father so that they can rule. Alex then reveals she's in love with Dean, so is transformed back.
In the beginning it is revealed that an old ugly witch has placed a spell on the bakers line so that they wouldn’t be able to have a kid. But the witch says that the curse can be lifted if the bakers can find the four ingredients that the witch needs for a special potion. Which sounds very similar to the Wizard Of Oz when the wizard asks Dorothy and the rest of the group in order to get what they wished from the wizard they needed to go out and find the witch and proceed to kill her, which they eventually did. All of the characters begin their journey onto getting what they have been wishing for. Once the witch finally gets all her items that she needed in three days time from the baker and his wife she lifts the curse and then proceeds to make the potion and she becomes young and beautiful again.
Odysseus does himself no favours by blinding Poseidon’s son the Cyclops and subsequently uses his powers for evil rather than good. He wants revenge and takes his anger out on the man who hurt his son. He makes the sea so dangerous and almost impossible for Odysseus to continue his journey home. He was unconscious on a floating wooden board from the ship.The Little Mermaid swam over to him as fast as she could and carried him to shore.
