We continue to learn and strengthen our skills as we grow. B) I learned that I may not always be good at expressing my thoughts. I have learned that I am better at writing out what I feel. I guess I can get more out that way. I have the opportunity to reread what I have written and then make corrections so that the point that I am getting at is full understood by the reader.
I considered a good writer to be anyone who could effectively convey a message to a reader. Since going through the first two units, I have learned that good writing is quite a bit more complicated. Author Keith Grant-Davie discussed how important to good writing it was to analyze your subject matter to understand who all of your possible audiences are and who you may be representing when writing your material, and to address all parties appropriately. If an author can do this effectively, I believe that it is a crucial part of becoming a good writer. Unit one also taught me to reevaluate how important certain priorities when it came to writing.

Ingalls and Marius stress the elements of drafting – disciplining the hand in sketching a figure or a written text, disciplining the mind to simplify unique characteristics of the subject and elaborate it into wonderful structures useful to humans and a writing text a reader can engage with.
In the analysis step I analyzed the arguments of the topics by writing down the controversies surrounding the issue and writing the claims of the topic. Other key steps taken to design the research question was to create an outline with bullet points to structure my argument. These steps are very similar to what scholars and professional writers do to write a research paper. Every writer must start by familiarizing themselves with the topic by researching from reliable sources. Professional writers must use reliable sources because it is very important to provide the reader with accurate information.

The good thing about this theory it allows care professionals to change and adapt to the communication style to meet the individual’s needs and preferences. The information really stayed on topic while all the different views of the reading, it’s really showed how critical thinking while reading is very important Does the information reflect a bias on the author’s part?
Equality means having the opportunity to achieve and flourish which are as good as the opportunities available to others. People have different needs, it is important to understand each person’s individuality and character in order to be able to offer them equality of opportunity. You need to know people’s needs so that you can adapt to their individual needs, e.g. As a practitioner, if you are aware that one the children in your class has a sight difficulty, you can help the child by making sure that they sit in front of the class so that they can see more clearly, you can also help the child by writing big letters that they can read without trouble. 1 ‘A personalised induction will always be more effective’ Discuss Personalisation of an induction can involve two processes, modifying the script for ones self and also for the recipient. The former is simpler in the fact that although we want to feel comfortable with the choice of words and order, we need to keep in mind that what works best for us must also work for everyone we engage. With each person we see, we are dealing with a unique individual so when we personalise there will be more factors to consider. This highlights the importance of the pre induction talk where information can be gathered to assist in adapting the induction. In conversation between people that are present, it has been proved that the verbal content isn’t always as significant as body language and tone.
