One effective method for me is playing music while writing essays for English. I have found that this type of music is a fantastic way to become inspired and it aids in intellectual development. As a musician I have always gone to music when I am lacking inspiration and it has never failed me. Whenever I have an essay to write for English, the first thing I do is start up my music. Writing is not a challenging task for me but it does demand a certain imaginative spark that I find in music.
My life hasn’t turned out the way I planned it long ago when I still had pigtails and played with Barbie dolls but Brendan and I have grown up together and learned from one another and because of this we have a special bond that I wouldn’t give up for the world. Having a child at such a young age has truly been a life changing event that has made me the person I am
“I always knew he was kinda sweet on me”, she said. They got married in about 6 months after “courting”. She told me that during this time it was not lady-like to be “shacking up” and not married. Hence the short time frame between courtship and marriage. Once married, they moved from Leslie to Americus to a small house in an area known as “Sunset Park”.
I’ve played that for about 6-7 years and quit when I was around the age of 16, so whenever I would hear the piano I tried to understand what notes they would play. I also have done chorus throughout middle school and high school, so I can read music and sight see very well. That’s why I really enjoyed the girl who sang the Bob Marley song, because she really
I ended up losing a lot of things in my life because of having the baby at such a young age, I was pretty helpless, but I did have my family’s love and support to help me and only so little of my friends love and support. A year later has come, jakob was starting to grow up now, he was just learning how to walk. He has dark curly caramel-like colored hair, beautiful skin tone, nice and medium, my exact eye color, dark brown, almost like root beer. He was always so happy and always just smiling and laughing, never once had a frown upon his little baby face, that was then I knew he was the happiest baby I ever saw. I knew doing what I have done at a yough age was a mistake, but having the most beautiful baby I could ever imagine….was the best thing that has ever happened to me, he was no mistake, he was a gorgeous
I was so happy that I didn’t have to worry about the stress of this topic anymore. My parents were so proud that about how determined I was. Now I realize that it wasn’t until I completed the Geometry class in my junior year that I passed the regents in June of 2011. I believe this is because Geometry was the necessary class to take before Algebra II Trigonometry but the curriculum in my school district wasn’t set up that way, causing many students to fail. Many students who failed were “A Students” and never failed a test before this.
October 12, 11 Cynthia Gannon 580 Broadway Lynnfield, MA 01940 Dear Nana: I truly enjoyed our interview on Sunday October 16, 2011 at your apartment. It was very interesting to talk about your generation and how it compares to mine today. As you and I were eating, the first and only topic that came up was music. During your generation, the only way of listening to music was records and record players. So, you would have to wait along time for new music because artists were producing new records.
She died when Scout was very young, but Jem still has many memories of her. “Our mother died when I was two, so I never felt her absence… I did not miss her, but I think Jem did. He remembered her clearly, and sometimes in the middle of a game he would sigh at length, then go off and play by himself behind the car-house. When he was like that, I knew better than to bother him” (Lee, 3). Scout was too young to really feel the despair Jem does, so she is not as affected.
After a full year of experience and going in to the fifth grade, I was absolutely thrilled that my school was starting its first ever orchestra program. It was the only program offered in the academic district. I ended up with a fine arts seal on my diploma from graduating with multiple years of playing in the advanced symphonic orchestra. Music has made such a positive impact throughout my life. I believe that every person should get the chance to participate in a music program, yet funding for music programs in public schools is consistently decreasing.
I can’t even count how many times I’ve seen George Balanchine’s Nutcracker, but I can tell you it will never get old, and always be a tradition that I look forward to every year during Christmas time. Whether I am in a company performing it, or sitting in the crowd with my children I have some day, it will always be a tradition I appreciate fully. We all know what the ballet is about so I don’t really need to go over that, but I will go over a couple of my favorite moments in this particular show I attended. In the ‘candy cane dance’ Jermel Johnson performs his outstanding number with his fellow children candy canes, which I performed with him at
