In this advanced and modern era with globalization taking place rapidly, life has been totally different from the past. Nowadays, life has become more challenging. In fact, it’s all about the survival of the strongest species and the most responsive to change. Therefore, education is crucial and needed in fostering one’s intelligence. Why is education so important? First and foremost, education helps to enrich your life. With education, you can learn and gain a lot of knowledge from different fields. You can apply what you have learnt like science in your daily life. Science is related to our life. For example, you will get to know the dos and don’ts in life. You will not get yourself involved in smoking as it is detrimental to our health. You will know it’s important to have balanced diet and sufficient rest to ensure a healthy life. An educated person has different perception of life and wider horizons of life as well. He always sees things logically and scientifically. Apart from that, he will be more rational and calm when he encounters with problems. He will always analyze the situation and think wisely before solving the problems as he will always choose the best solution for that matter. Educated people used to have sharper mind and this does help them to solve a critical problem. Good education upgrades one’s strata. People respect you if you are highly educated. A well educated person knows how to behave politely all the time. This is due to the moral values that have been instilled in their mind through the years of education. Thus they will be more civic-conscious and this will lead to the reduction of crime rate in our country. From the points stated above, we realize that how much education means to us.
