The conflict theory views conflict in the society a norm. The clash of each social groups interest means that the social structure will be rearranged however it would be only temporary because new conflicts would arise therefore changing the structure of their society as each society wants to rise to the top and be in charge. They are both dedicated to lowering your taxes, social reforms, and restoring strong families to raise our next generation of outstanding citizens. The next step would be education. We all know that education is one of the major factors into becoming successful in our country. But I say to you today that the educational system is failing us. Under the direction of President Obama, his solutions such as regulating curriculums and student loans on a federal level is what caused this mess today.
The author argues from a unique point of view that educational loans hold out freshly graduated students from boosting the economy by contributing to other economic sectors such as invest in homes and pay for vocational trips (Applebaum 2). The greatest stumbling block that is caused by educational loans is the limitation that they create on the purchasing power by the student graduates. In actual sense, lazy loan holders calling for free handouts should think of forgiving the educational loan as a scheme of economic growth stimulus initiative and not a call. Not even the new “pay as you earn” initiative is likely to solve the economic situation, at least not for private educational loans (Applebaum 4). Federal loaners may benefit from the new initiative, but, private educational loan holders will continue being burdened with the loans that continue to accumulate serious interest rates with each passing day.
Analyzing and fighting for our American policies and government. Last but not least, we as citizens need to control this economy and see what is really in our pockets. Being an upcoming freshman and a high-school graduate, scholars need to realize the oppurtunity we have to change the world, and have a huge impact in tomorrow’s world. It’s a luxury to have a free education to minorities, and many different physical races, ethnic backgrounds, and of course various religions. On the other hand, the education we as students receive can categorize as a national concern because as a nation we can’t have big percentage drops in tests that challenge our minds for the real world which we will encounter.

It is important to understand these two educational concepts because that way we can see the oppression, and might cause us to think a bit more about our education, encouraging us to take a few steps forward into demanding a more effective one. Giving our society a more effective education, in terms of one that will motivate students to think, will produce a new generation of people that will question the world they live in and have the liberty of proposing their own ideas and thought about the world. How is it that the banking concept obviates thinking? Simply by blocking our critical mind. The concept makes us retain a large amount of information or knowledge, but never encourages us to take it further than just “knowing” it, or to look deeper into some topic by ourselves and/or for our own personal growth.
Hunter Sallee ENGL 1010-21 10 September 2013 Writers Notebook 4 Writers Notebook Four Is there one positive essay about our working industry anywhere? Now everything I have ever been told is being completely blown out of the water. I was always under the impression that the better your education the better paying your job will be. Now I’m being told that it’s the people who have higher educations that should be worried because its those jobs that are now being computerized. So when Obama said that the way to work on the job crisis is to invest in education that was wrong.
In this write-up, I will seek to explain the ways in which I could establish ground rules with learners, which strengthens behaviour and respect for others. In doing this, I will be explaining what ground rules are and why they are necessary. How best they can be established and also ensure that students take ownership of rules by putting responsibility on them. Ground rules can be defined as terms which govern the working relationship between the school/teacher and its learners. According to Jo Budden “good classroom management depends a lot on how you establish ground rules at the beginning of the course”.
As young adults, we must now learn how to take responsibility for our actions and for the society and world we live in. With the knowledge we have gained about the world today, we must decide whether we are satisfied with the immoral, self-centered society we live in today. We are a generation with amazing potential for change, but only if we can be a generation of people with the heart, drive, and desire to want to force change to occur. Whether for God, yourself, your family, or for future generations, you owe it to somebody to find the motivation to work for a change in this world. My journey to where I am now all began with a goal I made four years ago, to be the valedictorian.
Alexis Smiley Dr. Lowe EH 101-119 December 3, 2012 The Importance of Quality Education The article “In Defense of Elitism”, by William A. Henry III., talks about how he does not agree with letting every student into a college and they do not meet the main requirements as those students who are putting effort forth towards their education. Henry thinks that the schools should raise its standards. He also believes that democracy should demand that all citizens have an equal opportunity, but thinks the egalitarians are taking it too far by insisting all should finish equally. Henry's aversion contends that people cannot learn until they think they can do it; therefore, the starting point of education should build within the individual.
