Why is a healthy- active lifestyle important to me and my future? Well, before I jump to that why not ask what do you need in healthy-active lifestyle?
In a healthy-active lifestyle you need a balanced diet A balanced diet should contain fibre and the various nutrients (carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, and minerals) Also, within a balanced diet you should try to stick to Canada’s Food Guide with all the 4 main food groups (Carbohydrates, Dairy, Protein, and Fruits and Vegetables.) and the serving size chart for all the ages it is simple to stick to a healthy diet, though sometimes the sugars can be tempting you shouldn’t eat them very often, but remember it is fine to have a bowl of ice cream or a slice of cake every once in a while. Moderation is key. What else do you need in a healthy-active life style? Well, like it is a healthy –active lifestyle, so I’d say exercise is a big part of it the average person needs at least 30 minutes of exercise a day, every day. You should exercise in ways you like to exercise in whether it’s running, biking, skating, yoga, walking, jogging, or sport activities (Soccer, Hockey, Lacrosse, Volleyball, etc.) There you have it the major components of a healthy-active lifestyle.
Now, I am able to answer the first question; why is a healthy-active lifestyle important to me and my future?
A healthy-active lifestyle is important to me for a few reasons. My first reason is I want to maintain my weight, I don’t want to gain unneeded weight because right now I am at a healthy weight for my age, and height, I don’t want that to change and surely if others were in my situation they wouldn’t want that to change either. Another reason why a healthy-active lifestyle is important to me is so that I will have a strong heart.
