Well, in a way they are in fact correct. According to the CSUN Schedule of Classes, the latest class on a Friday ends at 5:00 pm. However, for many weeks during the fall semester, it is in fact dark by 5:00, due to daylight savings. Then, there is the question of when it is not dark out. Well, there are many students that do not head straight home after classes end, like the student mentioned above.
They made sure that every month we had safety meetings to prevent any injuries to the workers. At the end of the month if there weren’t any accidents they gave us an hour lunch with their treat!! To this day I still keep in touch with some of the workers through face book. Some of the older ones went out on disability for Carpal Tunnel. CONCLUSION Being put in a team to do assignments can be very hard for some people because they may like to work alone.
My UCOR 101 teacher scrutinized the first paper that I wrote and he could tell it was written the night before and even referred to it as a high school paper. My first attempt at a college paper resulted in a bad grade and I knew changes had to be made for my second paper.

I worked every weekend and three days during the week. I also went to school for 8 hours a day, and 5 hours at work. If I wasn’t working or at school, I was sleeping. My girlfriend and I were in a crucial part of our relationship when I started working and it put a lot of stress on us. But, we learned to adjust and work through it.
This went on for around two weeks. The next Tuesday she finally asked me a question, “did we have homework?” she questioned me. I replied with a blunt “no.” We had had homework the night prior, but I did not want to converse with her. I acted this same way towards her until half way through the semester. Then, in the first day of the chemistry laboratory, we need to choose the group to do all the experiment together for the whole semester. Most of the students have their own group with their friends, but I did not any friends because I am a college freshman. So, I formed a group with him and another college freshman. We really have not talked for a few weeks, even we try to discuss about the experiment because he is too shy around other students and also we cannot communicate orally. So, I found the way to communicate with him by writing, and he started comfortable around the group, and we become a good friend.
Instruction: After reading the story again generate eight different approaches Raul might take to dealing with the tension that correspond to the eight strategies identified by researchers: 1) denial: Raul thinks that his current situation is not as bad as it seems, because his parents are being his parents. Every other college student experiences the same thing and what he is experiencing from moving back home is normal. 2) disorientation: Raul is confused because after 9 months of being away from home learning how to make his own decisions, becoming independent and more responsible with his money. Returning home, has lead him to feel like he’s regressed back to a high school kid again; however, with constant tension with his parents of allowing him to make his own decision but at the same time treating him like a kid again—rather than the adult he feels that he has become. 3) Alternation: Raul thinks he needs to change his behavior to adjust to his parents wishes and desire to be a kid again.
I didn’t know how I was going to conquer this task, because I worked part time in the evenings after school. Luckily, my mom gave me the courage, strength, and ambition to want to have a trade behind me before I enter college. The contract that I signed at cosmetology school stated the following; I will attend school on Wednesday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday’s from 8:00
I hated to do this so as I said before, this teaches that lesson of what’s right and wrong, therefor learning civility. As I got grew up I learned something every year. In first grade I learned that when older people help younger kids out for a whole school year you can really learn a lot. We had 8th grade buddies that were there every morning waiting for us in our classroom to talk to us before the school day started. Our teachers were very old and wise so they knew that this wouldn’t just be a learning experience for the 8th graders but also the 1st.
