The largest sects of religion are Christianity, Muslim, and Hinduism. These religions have been around for centuries and never caused as much chaos, destruction, and war as they do now. Why are these religions rising into conflict now? In today’s day and era, technology has changed the world. Due to the technological era, neighborhoods have diversified and neighbors, students, theologians, priests, and professors have come face-to-face with people of other religions. Through a critique on Paul F. Knitter’s book Theologies of Religion, one can understand the faults of the Replacement, Fulfillment, and Acceptance Models. These models lack validity due to the bias, questionable assumptions they outline and because they fail to form a meaningful dialogue amongst neighbors. The Mutuality Model is the only model of value and truth that will lead one to a closer and deeper understanding, helping neighbors to live comfortably and forming an open and honest
