BUSINESS ETHICS AND CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY AND SUSTAINABILITY PROBLEM OR DILEMMA INTRODUCTION The secret of any organization’s success is its human resource. It is the most important asset and their dedication to doing the best job possible is the real key for any organization if it wants to achieve its mission and goals of bringing about customer satisfaction. The school through its administrators and stakeholders, is accountable to its people: the faculty and personnel, students, parents and the communities it serves. As a business organization, it is bound by an iron “law of responsibility” which states that in the long run, those who do not use power in a way that society considers responsible will tend to lose it (Kreitner, 2011). Hence, there is demand for institutions to act more responsibly toward greater responsibility to develop and train its people as one phase of its corporate social responsibility. In today’s age of increased corporate accountability, efforts are made by the top level management. Because school personnel are so important to the achievement of the goals and objectives of an educational institution, human resources administration is of central importance. These corporate social responsibility policy and policy implementation The top level managers can only be successful if they not only gained adequate knowledge of specifics – such as relevant laws and policies, but also foster a relationship of mutual respect and cooperation within the ethical dimension of management – personal values, ethical principles, and steps that management can take to foster ethical business behavior in the work setting. In the case of personal values as ethical anchors, they are often ignored in the discussions of the management. This oversight is serious because personal values can play a pivotal role in managerial decision-making and ethics.
