Fiction has to make sense.” Throughout history the authenticity of the Bible has been under constant scrutiny, whether from different sects arguing over whose ideals are correct or between the atheists and Christians arguing over whether God is real or not. In this project I intend to try and shine some light on the subject by looking on both sides of the argument and showing the contrast between the ideas of the Bible and what it says. This I intend to be done by thorough research into the subject, and each party’s views and a survey which I will develop that will be aimed at all sectors of society, to see what society today thinks, this so the report cannot be classed as being biased, as if the report was directed at just one sector or faith there is obviously going to be a leaning to one side of the argument rather than a balanced majority. Some other ways that I plan to find information on the subject is through going out and gathering research from museums and the like, and also by going to individuals who are well known to have data on the subject. The main aim of the report will be to investigate whether in our society today, the Bible can be still classed as being fact, even with all the theories and ideas coming out attempting to disprove it, i.e. evolution, or the big bang.
