In this year of the Faith, in my opinion, the best way to reflect on this is the Apostles' Creed, the prayer following the homily. The Apostles' Creed summarizes a Catholic's faith in a Triune God. It teaches that there is only one God and in God, there are 3 divine Persons. The Creed starts off with God, our Heavenly Father who created everyhting for six days (since the Bible says that He rested on the seventh day. The Second Divine Person is God the Son, Who is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born of a Virgin our Heavenly Mother, in a stable visited by shepherds and by the Magi.During His public life, He taught everything good but was critical of the Pharisees and teachers of the Law because of their hypocrisy. They conspired against Him by giving false witnesses. He allowed Himself to be judged by biased judges and was sentenced to be crucified upon orders of Pontius Pilate. After being mocked and severely beaten, he was nailed to the cross. He uttered the seven last words before he died. He conqured death as he rose from the dead on Easter Sunday. His sacrificail death brought us back to God as He paid the ransom for our sins. His Resurerection destroyed the fetters of death forever. He then went back to heaven on His Ascension and was seated at the right hand of His Father. He will come again as Judge on the second coming. The third Person is the Holy Spirit who usually came in the form of a dove and on Pentecost, as a strong wind and tongues of fire thus strengthening the apostles to spread the faith to the world resulting in millions of believers and faitjhful. Pentecost is likewise the birthday of the one, holy Catholic or Universal and Apostolic church. We believe also in the Communion of Saints-the chuirch triumphant: the saints in heaven; the church suffering: the poor souls in Purgatory and the Church Militant: Us here on earth. At the last day,
