There are four source of information, which is people, organization, literature, and information system. Firstly, source of information through people means people or individual, we may access people through personal contact. Usually we will contact people as an information source when the information that we looking for are not available in written from or when the information is needed urgently or we need a more detail information. For example, a librarian, the patrons in the library would have difficulties in finding books that they need if there were no such jobs as a librarian. A librarian acts as an “individual” that provides information to where the books might be kept or what is the most suitable book on a subject. Information through people is that information travels fast through verbal communication. Secondly is the organization, the organization has numerous types based on functions, subject as well as profession that we should know. It may be divided into various categories such as commercial organizations, educational organizations, official organizational, society, and professional organizations. An organization is a social agreement which pursues collective goals, controls its own performance, and has a boundary separating it from its environment. An organization that is established as an instrument or means for achieving defined objectives has been referred to as a formal organization. Thirdly is literature, it can divide into three main categories that are primary source, secondary source, and tertiary source. Primary sources are the original information, which has not been filtered through interpretation, condensation or evaluation. It can refer to a person who provides information or an object.
