Texting and driving need to stop. What more important to stay connected during every minute of the day or your own life? Ask yourself that question. To me my life is more important. Now a day’s more accidents are blamed on distracted driving but the most the time the distractions are because people are on their cell phones. Many people now days have a busy life that they depend on their phones to get things done. But to me you can wait and get to where you are going and they send the message or check the email. If its that’s important stop your car and write back but don’t pick up your phone while driving. Some people have in the mind that there top priority is checking their emails, the face book or any internet site and sending a text message. They don’t think it’s a big deal but it is. Did you give it a through how it can affect your life.
Texting and driving is very harmful to you and the people around you. The most important reason why texting and driving should stop is because it causes a lot of accidents every year. It unbelievable how many accidents there are because of texting and driving. People feel that staying connected to the outside world is more important than focusing on the road ahead of you and it is not. Some people can’t stop themselves from touching the phone. When drivers hear the vibrate and ringing as soon as your eyes meet your cell phone your focus is not on the road anymore. For every two second that a driver had their eyes off the road to read a text or answer or make a phone. You are twice as likely to have an accident. Teens now a day’s receives around 2,899 texts a month and a lot of while they are driving. If people would open their eyes to the dangers of texting and driving they would be less car accidents would take place every year and the road would be much safer.
