It can instill self-worth and self-esteem. It allows the child to set goals and realize positive instant gratification. I would employ all these skills throughout university life in order to help me succeed and do well. I spend the majority of my spare time socializing – perhaps a little more than I should – however I do believe I have a good balance of school work and free time. I love listening to music, reading magazines and going shopping, as does any teenager!
