Teens just want to feel the pleasure and they want to feel good but don’t think about the other people or even there selves that they can kill on the road. Accidents can accrue because some teenagers are afraid to let their parents know that they drink instead of them calling them when they or their friend cannot drive, they decide to get behind the wheel and drive anyway. The drinking age should not be lowered because
- It has become affected and is getting more teens involved showing them how important it is not to drink or drive. - How have students been using positive peer pressure to stop the problem of teenage drinking and driving? - They have talked with other teens showing them the accidents with drunk driving and influencing them to not drink and drive. • Students are telling their friends it isn’t cool to drink and drive. • Students are learning it isn’t safe to drink and drive.
Teens often believe that if they are able to vote and be sent to war than they should be able to consume alcohol. This is often a huge debate between many people. What most of these teens don't know is that the drinking age at one time was eighteen. However, the government saw problems with teens drinking and they decided to raise the legal drinking age to twenty-one. There are many incentives out there for states whose drinking age is still under twenty-one.

It is obvious that the law has not succeeded in preventing the underage group from drinking. Violating the law will make the students to likely act unlawful manners, so why not make it legal? Once this law is approved, it will benefit the students from inhibiting them to make irresponsible behaviors. Since it is considered as an illegal activity for underage drinkers, teenagers have not been educated on how to drink in moderation beforehand. This is a great opportunity to teach those who are underage so they will have an idea of knowing their limits earlier.
Many people worry that America’s youth would start drinking at a younger age if the drinking age was lowered to 18. Right now the drinking age is 21 and we see the majority of young people start drinking alcohol before they are legally allowed. These people believe that if the drinking age was 18, then more of America’s youth would begin drinking and misusing alcohol at a younger age like 16 or 15, which could be dangerous for development. Those who are for against a lower drinking age also believe that if the drinking age were lowered, more people in general would engage in alcohol-related activities, thus resulting in more alcohol-related accidents. They believe that by making the drinking age a lower age, alcohol would become more accepted in American society and it would encourage more people to engage in drinking, at a younger age, as well as adults.
College Binge Drinking I was shocked to overhear my sons comment when he come home from college. He said, “College students are drinking to get drunk, that is their only mission for the night.” Binge drinking among teenage college students has become a huge problem in our nation. Binge drinking has become an enormous problem on campus; not only because of the risks but also because of the problems that go along with it. Binge drinking will bring on problems such as; depression, anxiety, and being impulsive. Webster New Explorer Dictionary defines binge drinking as an act of excessive Consumption of alcohol.

A lot of young children die in drunk driving accidents every year, so finding a solution to this problem can save many lives. The reason all this is a problem is because teenagers tend to think there invincible and can drive under the influence but really they have no idea what there getting themselves into. Most kids miss judge the amount of alcohol they've consumed and when they get behind the wheel think there okay but in reality there way over the legal of drinking. I found there's only one solution to this problem.
When someone tells me not to do something, it makes me want to do it more. If I'm allowed to do something I don't do it as much, because I know I can do it whenever, without consequences. Most teens are scared of getting caught and calling their parents to come get them, because they can't drive home. So teens get in their cars and drive home, avoiding getting in trouble. If the drinking age was lowered, they would legally be allowed to drink.
