One problem the internet caused stated in the documentary is, it is very hard for parents and authorities to regulate what kids do on the computer. Since the internet is so easy to access via new technologies, authoritative figures just cannot be present with the kids all the time. Another issue the internet has caused reported by the documentary is by it being so addictive, it has taken time away from studying, school work and activities such as reading. This is a problem because education is almost a must in today’s society. However, the documentary fails to acknowledge how the internet has helped kids by providing ways to find answers and acquire research and knowledge.

With advancements in technology, some students have chosen to complete their schoolwork through the Internet, rather than in traditional classrooms. Those who support a traditional classroom approach to learning argue that it provides more of an opportunity for students to interact with the teacher and other students. The introduction of computers to our family life helps us come together and spend more quality time together. The list can go on, but with all these opportunities we have, we also lose a lot. We lose privacy and security. There are also some greater drawbacks when it comes to the net, like Internet related crimes. Society is in a me generation and for the family to work and cannot be like that. This problem will still persist if there are still people who put themselves over their kids nine times out of ten. Culture and society also say it is okay to have children at such a young age when you cannot physically take care of them is a problem as well. Single mothers and fathers have a hard time raising one child let alone two or three but yet they keep on having child after child.
Should you need any help or just have a question, it’s difficult to get any personalized help from either the teacher or any student in your class. Any and all assignments that are due for your classes are turned in online, and you only have access to your school books through the computer. Community Service Communities are as strong as the people who make them up. Without members of a community pitching in to make it a better place, it will come crashing down to the ground. For some reason most kids of today are not interested in volunteer work. They’d rather play video games or update their Facebook status all day instead of picking up trash at a park or spending time with elders at the local nursing home. Have they all just become dangerously lazy?
It probably took them twice as long just to get things done. One of the biggest improvements in technology that helps the classroom would be the internet. Many times there is just not enough information from books and magazines, and students now can access all different kinds of information using the internet. This is fun for the students to do, and they can post short stories, poems, class homework, and many personally created activities.
