Individual students will be using their iPads consistently throughout the day. They will be used across the curriculum with students blogging, interacting on our class wiki, and creating multimedia projects. In small group instruction, specifically Tier 2 instruction, the iPads will be used to differentiate instruction. During small group instruction I will using Apps that compliment our units of study. Some students made need help with basic math facts while other students are ready to do some enrichment problem solving with their mathematics.

By designing activities based around computers and technology, Information Technology learners will feel more comfortable and confident completing tasks. An example of this could be setting an activity for the class to play a maths related online computer game and then to write an evaluation using a word processing package. The learners will be give a printed brief of their task showing the website address to access the game and the criteria to consider when writing their evaluation. Function skills are embedded in this session as the learner would have to be able to: • Listen and interpret the instructions of the task. • Read the website address to access the maths game.
Trainers should help students in creating such presentations and taking questions .All these activities require more efforts. The trainers should design the course carefully so that they can achieve the main objectives of learning business English rather than involving games in them so that learners are helped not only in learning but also even in the future job activities. Disagreement:- In the teaching of business English as a foreign language, games are very important. Every new learner finds it difficult to cope up with learning of n w language initially and continuous classroom discussions becomes monotonous, slow and boring. Games make lesson learning fun.
Also, everything is live through webcam and it’s very helpful. Smarthinking offers a variety of tutoring in different classes. You will have to pre-schedule a time with a tutor to be able to use this resource effectively. Webcam Tutoring could help me a lot on this term because it gives me the opportunity to talk with a tutor privately with my webcam. It also gives me a visual way to understand the subject while also being able to work on it through my
“When mathematics is incorporated into a science lesson, the two disciplines complement each other in such a way that the learning of both science and mathematics is enhanced” (Sherrod, Dwyer & Narayan, 2009, p. 248). In the world student can develop a broader view of science concepts and how science connects to all areas of their lives not only in math but also in reading, writing, literature, social studies and language arts. Science and math connect in many ways. The thematic unit that I design will focus on exploring matter with a focus on percentages. The lesson on matter will concentrates on National Science Education Standards and National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Standards.
I will write my assignment based around my Level One Electrical Installations course, which incorporates both practical and theory lessons as particulars of the course, and due to the nature of the course requirements, I have a large range of abilities in my classroom. When we look at Learner’s need we have to start by looking at Initial assessment. We initially assess in a number of ways: Tutor observations Self assessment exercises Group discussion One-to-one with tutor Games Practical activities Quizzes and questionnaires Using these as a guide to discuss each topic, I will analyse the role of initial assessment with regard to supporting my learners, organising teaching and learning strategies to help them, and look at developing resources and assessments for each. Tutor observations should be based around a framework of points the teacher is looking for. This is normally a mark sheet, (see App 1), Sometimes the tutor will notice something important that wasn’t on their framework, and they can adjust their framework for the future.
Strategy # 6 : Write memory cues on the test My specific actions: In my math class I will write equations and words that will cue information that is triggered by the cue. This will allow me to forget about those problems and focus on the problems I have the most trouble with, because
Bryan Cabrera Professor McConnor English 101 3 March 2014 As life begins to unfold, goals are things that you desire or dream of achieving. They may change over time due to events that occur throughout life. It is easier to discuss what I will be doing than to actually take action. Due to this, I have been procrastinating my desire to overcome anxiety and developing an identity through my academics. Pursuing a degree seems like a simple task up until the pressure and stress gets inside your mind.
I found it easier to manage discussions and I could now think about introducing activities which involved more different and challenging types of management such as ICT and group work. One important issue this brought to my attention is that behaviour management and effective learning are very closely connected. Everything seems to depend on good order. (Marland, 1975) Good behaviour management skills help create the classroom in which effective learning can take place. Slowly, I realised that I was spending too much time trying to maintain discipline.
