I believe that with the many technological advances that have been made throughout history computers have made life easier. I believe that computers have changed the world, as a lot of things can now be done through computers. A person can find a computer everywhere – at school, at work, and at home. I believe the educational environment is one of the most important places where the computer is placed.

This will not affect the finances of most colleges because colleges charge every student a fee for computer use every semester at Delgado its $60.00 and several classes already have these items in the class. They are used for education almost all the time for test taking, essays and research. Laptops are very convenient for students on the go and also gives the person full access to learn on the go. The use of audio is well known in education and has been used for decades.
On-campus classes make it easier to communicate one-on-one with your teacher. If you need any help or just have a question, you can speak to your teacher during class and/or speak to a student in your class. Any assignments that you get can be completed in class, on-campus, or at home, then turned in to the teacher. The books needed for your classes are owned by you, so you can make notes and highlight the text in the book if you need. It is harder to procrastinate while taking classes on-campus because you begin the homework in class (most times) and have the teacher to notice if you did or did not submit your assignments.
Internet helped William to enjoy studying and to focus. The program Quizlet stimulated all four objectives in learning language writing, reading, speaking and listening, which helped him transfer the material from his short term memory to his long term memory faster. As the data shows, his grades have improved. I also see the possibility of using assistive technology with students who don’t have disabilities to improve their performance. If I can gather more data and experiences, I can present results to the school that can impact school improvement, faculty development and student learning.

Also when doing group projects it is a lot easier to be able to meet and work with them without having to worry if your group members will log into class and participate. Online classes can save you money because you do not need to buy school supplies. You only need is a laptop. In addition, I can even share my note with my friends who are taking classes that I already took. Second, networking on laptop provides student with an opportunity to search more information on any class material within and outside of a class. For instance, in my plant biology class of this semester, when professor talked about “Kranz Anatomy”, which was a new concept to me so I didn’t understand most of it ; however I was able to go online on my laptop while I was in class, and was able to learn more clearly about Kranz Anatomy. Third, with laptop students are able to retrieve their saved work easily. For example, in my chemistry class of last fall, I forgot to bring my lab report that needed to be turned in, but luckily I had it on my laptop so I was able to plug in my laptop to one of the printer on campus and print my lab report.
