Tawhid: The Oneness of God Tawhid, belief in oneness in God, is one fundamental element of belief that is emphasized greatly in the Holy Quran. The principle of Tawhid is the backbone of all principles of Islam on which all other principles, rules and pillars are based. Before the revelation of the Holy Qur’an and Muhammad chosen to become the Prophet of the people, many sought their forgiveness and wishes in idols. The words "there is no god but God", which in Arabic are (La Ilaha Ila Allah), are the exact words which God Himself utters, also the angels and those who possess knowledge. Clearly the declaration of faith can be used to support the idea that there is no God but Allah (SWT). Tawhid is broken down
