They lived in a range of structures including pit houses and cliff dwellings. They had a major trade network created and was based in Chacco Canyon and Mesa Verde. As you can see, both of these civilizations were quite advanced and were essential to the growth of our country. There are three main reasons why learning about these two ancient Native American civilizations will be beneficial to us in the present time. They are that we can learn from their mistakes, improve upon their own brilliant inventions, and lastly because it will help us understand how our country’s foundation was laid as these civilizations played a major part in it.
Earth is a major symbol because not only does it have many themes but it symbolizes a great list of things through out the book. Earth has symbolized the ground, the animals, water, the plants and dirt as well. Earth has represented life since the earth has supported the soldiers with food that they needed to survive. Ironically enough the earth also represents death. Whether on the western front or in no man’s land the soldiers are always fighting on earth, earth which is littered with dead bodies.
One of the main attractions of these exhibits is two murals from the ancient Mayan city-states. During my visit to the museum, I had the chance to explore these murals. I also learned about their difference and what did the Mayan’ wanted the future generation to remember them as. Part I These murals are truly a piece of art. They definitely serve as a big resource for me to learn bit more about the Mayan civilization.
