Tablets vs. Textbooks Would schools rather use tablets instead of books? Imagine how many trees can save by using a tablet. Tablets are more convenient and compatible than carrying all heavy books to school. All tests, worksheets and homework, all in one device. Technology may change the skills to how we learn and live. Schools should implement the use of tablets because they are user friendly, at the same time handy, and they save the environment. Tablets are better than textbooks because they are more handy and user friendly. Evidence from text which supports this is, “The iPad was the catalyst of this because the potential a tablet has to replace a book just makes sense.
