For this reason, many foreign companies is attracted expand their scale in Hong Kong, which make a various of products from different countries focus on Hong Kong and the price may more inexpensive than other countries. In addition to the supervision of service and product standard is serious, people is confident to travel Hong Kong for shopping and name Hong Kong as ‘Shopping Paradise’ Great Geographical Position Hong Kong is located behind Mainland China, but facing the world. The role of Hong Kong is a sub-station for the foreign travelers as an entrance to get in Mainland China. So, Hong Kong tourism is also benefited from this because traveler will also visit Hong Kong and consume. Transportation (Please refer to appendix on p.9) MICE Development There are excellent and sufficient MICE facilities to business traveler. The popular area such as Asia World-Expo, Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre offers flexible business meeting packages . Many luxury hotels are offer convention and meeting room to business traveler too , such as JW hotel, Rita Carlton Holiday Inn Mile Hotel, etc. Other International events (Please refer to appendix on p.9) Different Cultures (Please refer to appendix on p.9) Weakness Air pollution (Please refer to appendix on p.9) Supervision Government is lacking of a serious supervision to Hong Kong tourism industry which make the tourism quality always has problems. For example, several mainland tourists was sleeping in the bus caused by the mistake of Worldcom Holiday (世通假期)tourism agency.
