Adapting to Change of the Salon and Spa Being a new business, the organization will have to adapt to change quickly. It will be the cornerstone of our success. Since the stylists and technicians will always be constantly trained and educated and many parts of the salon and spa will be technology driven, the organizational structure or database would be easily maintained. For instance, financial records, the salon would have records at the shop, but with technology, it makes it easier to back-up data and store on another server or USB. Adapting to change as a small business does not have to be a negative thing. Adapting to change and result into increasing profits, increasing your client base and even developing client loyalty. With continued support and training, it will ensure that all staff from stylists, nail technicians, massage therapists, to retail staff will understand their job and perform their job to the best of their ability; and will stay current on all the latest styles and trends and implemented salon rules and regulations. Supply Chain Operations of the Salon & Spa Supply chain operations can be used as a management tool for any organization. As a business that caters to many aspects of a client’s needs to create an atmosphere for a “one-stop shop”, the salon uses this in the planning process to meet supply and demand. The source portion is used in such a way that we purchase that items that are needed in order to meet the client’s needs.
