Swimming vs. Running The age old question, which is the best work out? I won’t tell you, but I will give you information to choose. Both have great qualities they share, but are different in their own ways! They each have their pros and cons. This might sway you either way. Which is better well that’s for you to decide. Swimming is a way to get away. If you put a swim cap and goggles you can’t tell one person apart from another. Jumping into the water you disappear. As if you were never there. One may drown all their thoughts in the water. The only thing you can here is you mind and the water flowing past you ears. The water takes control of your breathing. You can no longer breathe when you want to. It now takes you body a thought process. Saying I need oxygen, turn your head, move your arm out of the way. The whole body is being used in one way or another. Your arms are used to guide you. Legs are there to propel you through the water. Your abdomen keeps the rhythm of you strokes, and you flow through the water. When you sweat people won’t be able to tell the water disguises’ it. There are risks to doing any sport. Swimmers can develop breaststroker’s knee, which is very pain full. They can break bones in their hands from coming into the wall to fast. There is a possibility of drowning. A head injury may occur from diving in at a shallow place. Also a dislocated shoulder may take place during butterfly. There is nothing to assist you the pressure is all on you. If these differ you from swimming running is your other rout. With a good pair of shoes; you’re good for hours. Hair pulled back out of you way. Hit the pavement running. Nature surrounding you from every corner you turn. Other runners pass you focused on their steps; there beat mixed in with yours. The beat you are running to is that of your heart, and the sole of your shoe hitting the floor.
