Statement of the problem: A school not preparing their students for a natural disaster is leaving the students helpless when something majors happens. Student’s lives could be in danger because they do not know how to protect their safety. My school Central Penn College for an example has not really helped me learn how to keep myself safe from anything except fires really. Coming from a private high school, we had drills at least once a month and they ranged anywhere from fire drills which is the most common one, to hurricane and tornado drills, to even code red drills where the school is locked up and shutdown.
