Parents would be glad to see their children working hard instead of giving up from being behind because of summer vacation. The future generations will lead us to a better life. Kids might forget things over the long summer breaks. They would learn more if they didn't have to relearn information they forgot over summer break. There are many pros and cons to these deciding factors. Some cons include: reduced options, more pressure, fewer liberties & less independence. Some pros include: saving money, close to family, & able to keep a stable job. First year generation students go to college for many reasons. They want to get a great job & establish a career, make good stable money, help out the family/ bring honor to the family, & they want to earn respect.
However, they should think this way that they came to United States when they were under 10 years of age. It’s not their fault, so they should not be punished. The DREAM Act provides opportunities to these children, to prove them and show that they are capable of doing many things. The DREAM not only allows these children to attend school and gain legal status, but also benefits the economy of the nation. When these children grow up and graduate their college with a degree in their hand, they will get into good jobs.
The younger people of Kava will be ready for the workforce in a few years. Over that time, NFP can plan a strategy to assimilate the company into the culture of Kava. Another reason is because my cousin can show me the ropes, as a recent graduate from the school. So if I was to need help with anything she would know a lot more than I do so I wouldn't be lost like most freshmen are their freshman year at a new school. Then I had some friends that came along with me to college. Those coming along to college with me help me feel comfortable because I wouldn't have to be alone. Then another reason is we can all work together and help each other whenever it’s needed.
Students who need extra intellectual attention, whether it addresses their difficulties or their talents, shouldn't have to wait for summer to receive it; that would be "no good."
