He physically and mentally abuses Delia, takes her income while failing to make his own, and has an affair on the side. Despite being out of work, for three months he has paid his mistress Bertha's rent. Sykes brings negativity to his relationship with Delia, and tries to poison her with a rattlesnake. Tired of Delia and seeking out freedom with his "portly" mistress Bertha, Sykes hatches a plan to poison Delia by planting a rattlesnake in her washing clothes, but the plan backfires after he is fatally bitten in the neck. After Sykes is bitten in the neck by the rattlesnake, Delia sits under a chinaberry tree while hearing the distant moaning and wailing of Sykes.
Many events in the book were very sad and touching when Foster the main girl in the story keeps a pillow case just with her dads stuff in there after he died in the army, she lives with her mom and her boyfriend named Huck who isn’t as nice to Foster at most times making her call him Elvis thinking of himself as a really good singer making Fosters mom the backstage singer and some days he even hits her mom at times and finally one day they get into a fight making Huck break into their house and hitting her mom so badly that they have to run away from their house very fast finding a safe place with Huck coming behind them with his car chasing them and soon they outrun him and arrive to West Virginia. Foster a 12 year old girl with a huge love for baking can bake almost anything possible to bake but she only has one problem she can’t read at all when she starts “it’s like my brain starts to close
Later on Christine gets married and just when everything seemed to be going good for her she finds out that her husband, Elgin starts cheating on her and this is when she starts hating herself and making up excuses on why he would do something like that to her. Christine is so mad she tells Ray that after fifteen going on sixteen years of marriage, her father thinks he’s in love. She says it as if it is a spoiled fish to her (Dorris 11). Christine expresses to her frustration with her husband “with some twenty two year old bubblehead doper named Arletta. Arletta!” (Dorris 11).
One day Gustavo went to his country Spain then he never showed up again, Celia was very upset and she lost living her will to live. Though she has no known medical condition, she wastes away due to depression. While she is housebound, Jorge del Pino, courts her and persuades her to marry him. After their honeymoon, he leaves her at home with his mother and sister while he goes on long business trips, punishing her out of his jealousy for her past with Gustavo. His mother and sister are cruel to Celia, even more so after she becomes pregnant.

G's cousin No Good (Method Man) robs a store and his girlfriend feels he was in on it and takes their son away from him. After all three are given a talking to by Lonnie's Uncle Virgil, they realize how much they love their kids and what they have to do.
He finds him and the pool in a floating bed and shoots and kills Gatsby and then he kills himself. So as you can analyze, because of both Gatsby’s and Daisy’s imperfections there were many consequences. Gatsby’s desire for Daisy cost him his life and just to see Daisy run off with Tom. Daisy just didn’t care about anyone’s feelings; she cared more about her money and her beauty. Her actions lead to so much chaos and people suffered because of her fault and she didn’t care.
In Gilman’s story, the narrator’s husband, John, passes out when he sees his wife completely insane creeping and crawling around the room trying to figure out the wallpaper. On the other hand, in Chopin’s story, the wife, Louise, who was ecstatic about news of her husband’s death, realizing she was finally free to live life on her terms, saw her husband walk in the door and the sudden disappointment resulted in her death due to a heart attack. The women in both stories feel that the men intervene in their lives so much to the point where they feel like the men are living their lives for them. The oppression between one another in each couple led to the insanity of one woman and the death of another. I believe that if they didn’t try so hard to live each other’s lives and gave themselves some freedom and time apart they could have avoided ending both stories with a character on the

The many visits to bars and loud talks about his divorce are what Jacob meets his friend to be Steve Carell. By then Jacob was a humanizer who always made away with different kinds of women to his house. One lady by the name Hannah (Emma Stone) had refused to go with him. Later Cal’s wardrobe is changed by Jacob and he is taught all the tricks of seducing women.
The reason to Conrad’s suicide attempt is his mom's acute coldness towards him shows her ultimate despise of Conrad because she blames him for not dying instead of her favorite first born son. After his suicide, Conrad is asked to see a psychiatrist by his father. Cal tries to bring the family back together, Beth, Conrad and himself, but fails to do so. Beth never once visited Conrad in the hospital and barely checks up on him to see if he was asleep. She began to shut herself from her husband and most importantly, her son.
When George isn’t there to help him, things can go terribly wrong. One night when all of the men went out, Lennie was left at the ranch. When the boss’s daughter-in-law came to visit Lennie accidentally killed the woman. After he realizes she is dead, he instantly knows he did something wrong and that George will be angry with him.
